Allan Chochinov, chair of our program, presented some of our class’s work at AC4D Design Extravaganza conference in Austin, TX October 6, 2012.

My Jay project is shown at 23 mins 26 sec in the video.

These embodiments for Jay are giant sculptures that would be dispersed in major cities internationally. Artists or companies would sponsor a Jay sculpture & make it their own.

This is an embodiment of Jay in which he would team up with Disney/Pixar to create a short film.

This sheet of printable bandage lets the user customize their wound coverings. By snapping a photo of their skin & printing it out, the bandaid blends into their skin seamlessly.

This concept expands the standard features of the bandaid with a writable surface to jot down notes.

After downselecting the numerous sketch concepts, I decided on 3 designs to create sketch models. This bandaid roll lets the user select how long or short the bandaid is depending on the size of the cut.

This is my first round of brainstorm sketches to redesign the bandaid.

The Affirming Artifacts project began by:
1. To keep all of our trash (sans food items) for two weeks.
2. To redesign the first object I threw away after the class. My object is a bandaid.
